Can You Spot the IED? (part 1)

Because Maggie’s so shy she’s highly in-tune with her surroundings – it’s almost autistic, really.
She can spot the slightest difference from over 50 feet away.
She’ll stop cold turkey, fully alert, ears-up, face wrinkled, chest puffed up & up on her tip-toes to look bigger…staring right in the direction of the difference.

Eric Make Fire

The Firewood Fairy came on Friday.
Bundles of wood for our wood-burning fireplace….a rarity in off-post living.

At home buying a bundle of wood means it’s essentially shrink-wrapped in clear plastic & all the dust, dirt & splinters fall out from the ends when you go to pick it up.
