One by one the local farmers are beginning to get their fields ready for Spring.

They’re burning the old rice fields.

Gathering up what hay is left.

Clearing away brush & brambles.

And hopefully…this means Spring is just around the corner.

They had to postpone the Cherry Blossom Festival a couple of weeks because the weather’s just been too cold.

But we’re still going & I’m bound & determined to snag every picture of sunny Spring imaginable.
