Or How to Impress Your New Commanding Officer

It happens.

It actually happens enough that the military medics are on-hand, in the background of every outdoor ceremony, patiently waiting for that first young soldier to fall-out of formation.

This was that boy & this was my one-in-a-million shot of it from over 200 feet away in the bleachers during the change of command ceremony.

Turns out being ill & on prescription medicine while standing in the hot sun on concrete for an hour will do that to you.

Having your NCO‘s wife snap pictures of it so he can post them on the bulletin boardĀ in the hanger for all your buddies to see?…

Well, it’s a little embarrassing.

But it was all in good male-bonding fun. The kid took itĀ in strideĀ & that top pic is now his computer background.
