And making plans of my own

bunker

I’ve been here for almost 2 months & technically…I’m still off the grid.

I don’t have my SOFA stamp yet (not sure what it is or where I get it, but it means Korea could deport me if they had the urge & knew where I lived…[ha ha ha]…“Come & find me!”) & I’m not officially on anyone’s NEO list yet.

NEO - Non-Combatant Evacuation Orders: The process by which the government will ensure all military family members (pets now included – whoo hoo!) & American contractors are safely evacuated from the country should something terrible happen. For example, a hurricane or the wrath of Kim Jong Il.

So if the North finally decides to invade, here’s where you can find me, the dog & our cat.

It’s an old bunker not too far from our house in a tatical training area for the 8th Army. While I’ve not been down inside it, I’m sure it’ll do just fine.

If I can only remember to bring a flashlight, some granola bars & the dog & cat food…oh yeah, and the wubbie.
