I started cooking our Thanksgiving feast for two on Wednesday. I think I got about 4 hours of sleep that night before I was up again at 1:30am to start the rolls & put the turkey in the oven.

Breaking news out of Camp Humprheys today as Army wives learn of the near last-minute Thanksgiving addition of canned pumpkin to the post commissary.

Riots nearly errupted as wives jockied for what was eventually discovered to be pumpkin pie mix…not actual cans of pumpkin.

Good Money

Living in Korea I’ve come to completely & truly recognize the value of a buck…and what I spend it on.
Life before Korea I would see something in the store & think, ‘Oh, that’s cute!’ And pick it up without a second thought (if I had the money).
Now, not so much.
Now everything has to do triple-duty. [...]
