While the Prims have room to layout their peppers to dry…the people who live in the ville don’t have that much space.

So they use any available space they can find.

I had snapped this picture while roaming the streets of Songtan one Saturday afternoon with Eric.

(*If you look close, you can see his reflection in the glass. Where am I?…I don’t reflect…I’m too pale.)

I had every intention of this just being a quick-pic post with some quippy one-liner sentence or two. But oh no, it turned into an embarrassing moment story.

So there we were, minding our own business, finding tailor shop after tailor shop (for men) – but not a single dressmaker in the place.

(This was when I thought I had all of 5 days to find something formal to wear to an NCO ball – which turned out to be no ball at all. I know, long story & one I keep meaning to share.)

*Mental Note: Remember to tell everyone about the time Eric said ‘Hey Babe, I just bought tickets to the NCO ball up in Seoul. I can wear my brand-new tailor-made suit & we’ll find something for you to wear”.

But I digress…

Songtan…that’s where we were…Songtan, filled with tailor shops.

We stumbled on this striking number & I knew I had to snap a picture or two. But I didn’t want the owner, who was standing around outside trying to hustle soldiers into his shop, to see me taking pictures.

Why?…I don’t know, I just didn’t want to be caught because it’s far too easy for me to accidentally make some international offense without knowing it.

So I stop – grab 2 pictures – just in time for the woman who owns the tailor-shop next door to this one to come over to me & say…

“You can take peec-ture my suit. Veree good suit. Best quality! Ees no problem.”

Whereas she proceeded to nudge me over to her doorway, pointing at the suits, whispering like I was on a super secret photographing tailor-made suit mission.

Fudge…

I avoided one, only to be called out by another.

And all so I could bring you this picture.
