Bless your heart Jennifer, your compassion for animals will certainly break your heart sometimes, but for the sake of this poor guy, I thank God for giving it to you. He looks more that 100% better. Wish you could keep him or, at the very least, steal him for a better home. The guy that owns him must have noticed he's improving. It's gonna hurt when he's gone, but thank you for taking care of him. He sure has become attached to you.
Aren't our own dogs lucky to have such good homes and masters? I just look at my Beau and think about the poor other dogs around here tied up (mostly pitbulls). He lives in the house, sleeps on our bed, and gets boiled eggs and cheese for treats. Kind of like yours! I'm not sure they know they're dogs!
I've been keeping up with your blog, just haven't been commenting much. I feel a little blah! It'll pass. Visit me when you can. I like the lady's idea of making foot soak out of the leftover brine from the expensive Williams Sonoma product. I'll bet that smells good!
Happy shoe hunting,
