[get here late?...read part one, part two & part three]
I’m still here, still spotted & still moving slow.
My top speed is 90 year-old woman, much to Maggie’s dismay. I’ve had to shorten our route because I just get too wiped out with her yanking on the leash wanting to go faster.
She wants to run, wants to play – and right now I can’t do either.
But I did manage to actually eat supper tonight. And I made myself eat the whole thing, which was a chore because right now nothing is appealing to me.
I’ve been existing on instant Cream of Wheat (for breakfast) & water for the rest of the day and have been quite content with it.
It seems the minute I think I’m starting to feel better & have a bit more energy everything comes to a screeching halt.
I can’t keep my eyes open &Â my fever comes back.
Like now – I’m getting tired fast &Â am starting to feel cold.
So I’m off to bed again.

Jenn, Sorry you’re still feeling bad, but if you continue with a fever tomorrow and still have spots, you might think about contacting a Dr or RN. XOXO Lis
I agree with Lisa, it wouldn’t hurt to throw some antibiotics at whatever you have. Don’t feel foolish going in again. The army system is designed to just herd you through, but you already know that. They should have drawn blood at a minnimum…..jerks.
Okay Jenn: Could you take a picture of yourself and e-mail it to me so I can diagnose it as well as answer a few clinical questions? Cynthia said that they didn’t do a blood draw or a culture on you. Did they do a rapid strep?
Do you or did you have a sore throat?
Do you or did you have a fever? What has your temperature been running.
The thing is with rapid streps they are 90% reliable. A number of years back Cindy had negative one and then broke out with a lacy body rash a month later. It turned out to be scarlet fever. Amoxicillin will kill it quite readily as well as azithromycin. Boy I wish I was there so I could help.
