Okay Jenn: Could you take a picture of yourself and e-mail it to me so I can diagnose it as well as answer a few clinical questions? Cynthia said that they didn't do a blood draw or a culture on you. Did they do a rapid strep?

Do you or did you have a sore throat?

Do you or did you have a fever? What has your temperature been running.

The thing is with rapid streps they are 90% reliable. A number of years back Cindy had negative one and then broke out with a lacy body rash a month later. It turned out to be scarlet fever. Amoxicillin will kill it quite readily as well as azithromycin. Boy I wish I was there so I could help.

I agree with Lisa, it wouldn't hurt to throw some antibiotics at whatever you have. Don't feel foolish going in again. The army system is designed to just herd you through, but you already know that. They should have drawn blood at a minnimum.....jerks.

Jenn, Sorry you're still feeling bad, but if you continue with a fever tomorrow and still have spots, you might think about contacting a Dr or RN. XOXO Lis
