It looks like it’s made landfall!
So far lots of wind & not much else. But definitely glad I took down the tent.
Unfortunately the base website is down & has been down since yesterday afternoon.
So we can’t get any weather updates from it, know when the post will open up again, or the commissary, etc.
The commissary is normally closed on Wednesdays & even with the knowledge of the impending weather, they wouldn’t open it back up – even for just a bit – to let families get whatever last minute supplies they might need.

These images are from weather underground. A great site should you ever need it.
That red circle would be us.
It’s 6am here & the only reason I can report this to you now  is because our cat has decided she needs to be fed right this instant & has been hollering in my ear for the past 30 minutes to wake me up.
Nevermind the fact that I was up at 1am & didn’t fall back asleep till 4am.
Yes, it’s going to be one of those days.

Stay safe!! How is Moo during all these storms?
We just got our power (and our internet!) back on this afternoon. There is a ton of damage here, primarily to fences and trees. There are trees down everywhere. On Itaewon, the trees were inside these metal grates on the sidewalks and they were completely uprooted, roots and all. It was amazing to see the root balls sticking up in the air.
I hope you guys weathered the storm okay. Did you see that another one is coming early next week?
