By Sunday the weather is supposed to drop down to highs in the mid-50’s and lows in the high-30’s.
And these would be the only pair of closed-toe shoes I brought to Korea.
I was sure I had packed more than just my Maggie walkers, but no.
I’ve got a closet full of flip-flops (several half-chewed) & this one pair of well-worn, broken-in & pretty dirty Keen hiking shoes.
Unfortunately the female shoe selection here leaves something to be desired. I’ve got my choice of:
- combat boots,
- white sneakers (if they have my size),
- sandals (if they have my size),
- dressy heels (if they have my size),
- and some pretty outlandish, extreme-heeled, red-laquer – as seen on stage by famous pole-dancers everywhere - hooker pumps. (definitely not in my size).
This applies to both Humphries & Osan. So I’ve been scouring sites like Zappos, ShoeBuy & Endless.com for a pair of decent casual shoes that could be worn dressed up or down.
Unfortunately, I got side-tracked & spent the afternoon drooling over these.

Hand-made Lucchese Boots.
Nevermind they’re far too expensive for me (hundreds of dollars each), or that I wouldn’t have any place to go in them, or that my big ol’ foot has never & will never fit them (my foot’s too wide with a super high arch)…
…but a girl can dream.

I’m drooling … those are nice ! I’m saving up for a new pair too. We got a new dog for my mom and “Sadie” chewed on my Justins when she stayed with me a few days. Aaghh! Have you ever considered mens? There not as pretty, but I have for the same reasons, except there always to long, but the width is usually not too bad. XOXO
Try 6pm.com — they have great bargains on shoes and you can google for other coupon codes to make them cheaper at check out.
Or, go for the stripper pole dancer hooker pumps. Just supporting my brother, Eric!
