Being a stay-at-home housewife/graphic designer/Army wife gives me & Mooch a lot of time to talk.
We discuss everything from the weather, what to cook for supper, color trends in design, weight loss, laundry, the state of diplomatic relations between North & South Korea….and even the latest archeaological finds from time to time.
We actually had a great debate earlier this week on whether or not they really found the lost Persian army of Cambyses II.
50,000 men fabled to have been lost in a cataclysmic sandstorm en route to destroy the Temple of Amun in 525 BC?
I think it sounds plausible, but Mooch says no – she just can’t imagine there’s enough sand in the desert to bury that many bones.

But lately we’ve been discussing the meaning of life…specifically as it relates to turning 39.
Moo-Moo, do you think I look old?

‘Hmm…let me look…’
[long pause]
Ahh…, Moo?

‘Hold on, I’m still looking.’
[long...awkward pause]
C’mon Moo, you’re giving me a complex here.

‘Zzzzzzzzz….’
Lovely.
But then again, pretty much all our conversations end this way.

39 who’s 39 ? Oh my gosh I remember when you were just a mere 26… aaaaahhhhh
I’m sure you look still amazing as ever! So for what ever day this actually gets to you…
Happy Birthday my dear! Love You, Lis
Can’t you see you’re wearin that poor baby out? Especially after that long discussion on ancient history! Let her have her nap!
I sure was glad to see that you got some pumpkin! I was worried that you would have to order it and pay the shipping and all that; but I see you stocked up.
You don’t look like you are 39:)
Debbie
