Sweet, sweet...the memories you gave-a me

I’ve taken lots of little video snippets here & there over the course of our time here. I even got outside at 5am to try & film the storm rolling in.

Later that day I transferred all the movie files to my computer & in trying to dig out the one of the storm, I came across these.

Fair Warning: One will make you smile; one will make you cry.

Ahh…also…there may be a bit of puppy gushing, so excuse the baby talk. I promise I don’t sound like that all the time.

And since rediscovering these little gems, I can’t get Dean Martin out of my head.

In this one is Little One – the custodian’s dog. It was early April, the sun was just starting to warm things up around here & she got a new haircut.

It was mid-January and she was all of maybe 7 weeks old.

If you haven’t read the story of Libby Blue you may not quite understand the sadness it brings.

I’m ok…just bittersweet memories that have been hanging around the past couple of days.

But this is how I like to remember her anyway.

And dealing with “the boys” is helping.
