Last Thursday night, Eric & I went to see Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band perform on base at Camp Humphreys.
(The video may take a bit to load.)
I have to say, he’s the first celebrity to visit the Hump since I arrived in Korea & it was incredibly cool to see him perform in such an intimate venue!

There were about a hundred of us in the CAC for his 2 & a half hour show.
But more importantly, I have to apologize for my shotty photography.
While I’m doing better at the daylight shots, I haven’t really practiced the night time ones…and unfortunately, it shows.

Gary & the band were really great. They cover all kinds of music. Turns out they’ve been doing USO shows for a few years now.
It was very generous of them to stop at our base. And it was really great to hear him thank all the soldiers for their service.
For the majority of these young guys, this is their first post – and being away from home with so many restrictions about life in Korea – well,…let’s just say it was nice to feel like you were back in the states…at least for a little while.
At one point, he went down into the crowd – so I handed the camera to Eric since the boy’s so much taller than everyone.
(But it looks like we both need more photography practice – love ya, Babe.)

Ironically, this was also the first concert Eric & I have ever been to together. And we’re going on 5 years now…
Stay turned for tomorrow’s tale…”Felicity & Her Brush With Fame“
