Jennifer, I'm afraid that I agree with the last three comments. Maybe it is time to take a break and come home to see a doctor. It seems to me that the Army should be more responsible in taking care of its military personnel and dependants over seas. You need to get aggressive n your medical care. You shouldn't have to suffer through headaches like this.

This just makes me plain mad. Is there any way you can pack up Moo and yourself, come home and get your tests and treatment??? Making you suffer and wait like this is inhumane. I'll be talking to the Big Guy Upstairs tonight and maybe a solution will come your way.....and soon. God Bless.

I guess the Army never heard of over-lap? Seems it makes more sense, particularly in the medical branch to keep the departing neurologist on staff until new one is able to begin seeing patients. It's called continuity of care. To leave a patient uncared for during a 1 -2 month period is a very bad practice. I am so sorry you are having the headaches again. I am with Terri; there has got yo be some other pain medicine that wont wont work adversely with your blood pressure. Thoughts and prayers.

Crap! Crap! and Double Crap!!! Given the situation, is there any way you can get your records, come home, and see doctors?? (Notice I didn't even bother to say doctor? Figured military would make you see many.) How about taking your prescription with you and seeing Doc on base at clinic, explaning the drug interaction, and see if you can get something that doesn't tear you up?? You might go to pharmacist and ask for recommendation first, then give that name as suggestion to Dr.

I have a friend who is the director of hosp pharmacy. Email me what you are taking for BP, as well as what they gave you for headaches, and I will ask him for recommendation and email you back. That might be quicker than you doing it over there, given the ten miles of run-around you always get.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this HELL again! Please let me know if I can help in any way. I am just an email away.

Love you much.
