and other Sunday ramblings
 wrote this at 9:54 pm

I keep meaning to write a post about Moo & Libby…about Smores, the neighbor’s puppy…and their debate over who gets to play with him.

But I continue to be distracted.

Wednesday’s not that far away & I’ve been burying myself in the pleasures of simple, daily routines to keep from thinking too hard on it.

Eric & I have spent the weekend going to the gym, checking our blood pressure & watching the PBS series on the Story of India.

(Turns out the library here has a pretty good collection of DVDs.)

You know, lovely boring old married couple stuff.

Stuff that’s best not to blog about.

In fact, I’ve been so buried in routine that I completely overlooked taking a picture of yesterday’s Yellow Sand storm.

The sky went completely orange about mid-morning & stayed that way for the rest of the day.

So what have you been up to this weekend?

Check it out! 4 Responses - Whoo Hoo!

Well, started watching snow flurries off and on yesterday, and woke up to 2″ or more on the ground this morning, and more expected today. Welcome to Texas, Spring! I’ve lost count of how many times it has snowed this winter, but it is definitely a record! Had pretty weather all week, but couldn’t really do anything because of my hand. Yuck!

  2. Wouldn’t you know, snow on the first day of Spring! Only in Texas. Not as dramatic as Yellow Sand, but still pretty cool. I know it seems like forever to get to Wednesday, but try think of it this way: Once you know what it is, you can stop worrying about what it’s not, and start trying to fix the problem. Knowledge is power, especially girl power! Thinking of you.
