Bright, shiny, sparkly, electric, pulsating, LED Christmas….
Complete with Korean women singing American Christmas carols.
I suddenly felt like little Ralphie Parker being serenaded to before eating my Christmas duck.
“Fah rah rah rah rah…rah rah rah rah”
Quick! Name that movie.

My all time FAVORITE Christmas movie! You’ll shoot your eye out!
Yep, my favorite Christmas movie too….A Christmas Story. Brings back a lot of memories since I was a kid during the same era that Ralphie was a kid in this movie. LOL, what would the kids do now if their entertainment was Little Orphan Annie on the radio. Another one was The Lone Ranger. A simpler time and I remember it fondly. Wow, they have Christmas over there and yet aren’t familiar with PUMPKIN pie? Amazing.
A Christmas Story (1983). It’s my husband’s favorite Christmas movie. So much so that our son – the one who is 1 day younger than you – made his dad a “leg” lamp last year for Christmas. I’ll have to do a post about that maybe next week.
A Christmas Story is a family tradition in these here parts. (said in my best Texas accent) Just like trimmin’ the tree, carolin’, and going to see the be-utiful Christmas light display in Loy Lake Park, we have to watch it and Chevy Chase’s Christmas Vacation. It wouldn’t be right without them!!
Hey – that one’s MINE! And that one’s MINE! this one’s yours… but THAT one’s MINE!
That kid has the best laugh ever!
