Hi Jennifer! I'm Cynthia Stinson's mother by way of an introduction. They'll be leaving on November 9th and heading your way soon. By the looks of the above picture could it possibly be those little things you put around stemware glasses so people can tell which drinking glass is theirs?

Anyhow, I've been visiting your blog because I wanted to get an idea of life in Korea because John and Cynthia have asked me to come too. I'm a family nurse practitioner and have worked for the Army before when we were all at Ft. Leonard Wood (I chuckled at your pharmacy picture because it seems like the same thing happened at our base pharmacy when you tried to retrieve your medications).

Anyhow, I put my application in on October 8th (deadline October 10th) and haven't heard a word back. The thing is humans don't initially read it, a computer does! You have to have what I call "magic words" in your resume so the computer alerts a human to read it. AGH!!!! And of course, that computer is in Maryland.

Is there anybody that you know that could be an "inside" sponsor? Perhaps a doctor or nurse who would be willing to get my resume to a decision maker in the 168th Multifunctional Medical Battalion? Sponsors get a referral bonus of $1,000.

Your blog is delightful and has convinced me that life in Korea may be very nice. Hope you like the pictures that Cynthia is downloading to you.

Blessings,
Sandra Sterling
