Oops! Just saw a grammatical error in my posting above. Remember, Ethel, he is; they are. Sooooo, Mr. Chong and his fowl friend ARE adorable, too. My English teacher would have had a stroke if she had seen that slip. I promise to do better. Well, I'll try. LOL

Sorry your headache came back yesterday. I hope your good luck today without it holds. Jenn, if you have not heard from your neurologist within 24 to 48 hours, please call his office to find out if he has received them. I am a retired nurse, having spent 15 years out of a 32 year career working in doctors' offices, and I know that in some cases reports on patients stay on the doctor's desk awaiting his perusal for a while. So call, please? The puppies are adorable; so is Mr. Chong and his fowl friend. Thinking good thoughts, saying heartfelt prayers.

Jenn, I'm sorry you had a bad headache again. I was hoping those were gone. When I had migraines, the noise and light was the worst. I would crawl into bed and pull the covers over my head to help block both. I would have to sleep them off, which is kind of ironic, because I always woke up with mine to start with. I never just got them during the day.

Sandra, I am so sorry to hear of all your trouble. I will lift you up in prayer as well. There is no worse feeling in the world to me than feeling disconbobulated. (There's my 25 cent word for the day!) I'm usually such an in-control person that it really frustrates me when I can't control me. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Jenn, I had to laugh about the dogs. Uncle Dan said there weren't any strays in Vietnam either. I guess they found their own way on controlling the pet population! (I know...that was bad! I'm sorry! I told you we had a warped sense of humor!)

I had my MRI yesterday Jenn and will have to wait for the results too. But what I am writing about is the 'chaos and noise" comment of yours as I am having trouble too with this since my concussion. I can't seem to sort out conversations when there is a lot of noise or music in the background. Both seem to come through equally and it's jangling to the nerves! The official name for this is "auditory processing" or an inability to auditorily process what is coming into your mind.
I went on a blog for other people who have had concussions and it is amazing how alike our symptoms were. But also, my boss who has Lymes Disease, also has had the same symptoms as people with concussions and perhaps yourself. The conjecture here is that that the neurotransmitter fluid between the neurons gets disrupted and therefore the information gets distorted or doesn't go to the right area of the brain to get processed. My short term memory is three times worse than it has ever been but I have had 4 days in a row now where at least I am not feeling disconnected from my body and having a sense of unreality.

I'm still praying for your recovery or at least a correct diagnosis. Maybe you're allergic to Korea and you guys will have to come back to the states. No you don't need any more puppies, and I'm still smiling over your comment about the dogs 'wondering if you're going to eat them. I guess spay and neuter are not familiar terms there. We call a litter unnecessary, they call them a 'delicassy'. Sorry, that was terrible.
I would pick the puppy on the left with the short hair. Also, I'm glad you pointed out the diff between your neighbor and the rooster.Your sense of humor is obviously intact.
We wait to hear more...
Love ya, Debbie
PS Remember, God is in the storms, as well as the quite.
