Although I'm not sure exactly what it is
 wrote this at 9:25 pm

But this is day 3 of being horribly sick…ill…and in general feeling completely like crap.

No cough, no sniffles, no stuffy head.

It started with a stiff neck, then fever, then horrible teetch-chattering chills, aching bones, throbbing joint pain & loss of appetite.

I go from freezing one minute to burning up & ripping the clothes off of me the next.

While Liquid Advil seems to take the edge off the pain & chills, it only comes back with a venegance as soon as it wears off.

But I promise I haven’t gone anywhere – I haven’t quit the blog. I’ve just been semi-conscious for the past few days & have been praying for death to come swiftly.

MeanwhileĀ EricĀ has doneĀ the dishes, bagged up the trash, started the laundry & fed the dog.

If that’s not male love, I don’t know what is.

Pray for me.

  1. been praying already. Sorry you feel crummy

Get well soon. Drink plenty of fluids….even though I know that sounds horrible to you right now…but just think of it as washing the walls of your insides and that helps. LOL

  3. Terri Barnett says:

I agree with Val, pump the fluids constantly to flush the toxins from your system. If you are still sick tomorrow, GO TO THE DOCTOR!!! Also, you can alternate using Tylenol and Advil so that you are never without meds. You can take Advil and 2 hrs later take Tylenol. It will carry you over until you can take Advil again. But, if you are still sick tomorrow, GO TO THE DOCTOR!!! Aunt Terri has spoken!! :)

    Dear Jennifer:

Your “Doctor Aunt Terri” is right. I know you had an appointment earlier last week. However, you may be working on meningitis what with you saying you have a stiff neck. You need another exam and some labs dear. Did they do any labs when you were in? If they did and haven’t gotten back to you, please call and ask to speak to your providers nurse so she can give you the results. And, share with her how your are feeling. That’s the way to get a same day appointment (the back door way)!

  5. Val says:

Glad you’re getting some medical help…..hope its nothing serious. They better take good care of you …. they don’t want ME to come over there! I can be such a pest about these kind of things. Get well soon!!!

So What Do You Think?
