For the past several days I’ve been debating back & forth whether or not to say anything about  the upcoming Weblog Awards aka – the Bloggies.

Do I ask …beg…ask you to nominate me? Or do I just stuff-it and go back to finding funny military-life-in-Korea things to talk about?

It’s making my head spin.

So I’ve been talking it over with Moo-Moo to get her opinion.

‘Hey Mooch…Do you think I should ask the handful of wonderful, kind & forgiving people who read our blog to nominate us for a Bloggie?’

“…Or do you think it would come across as pretentious self-promotion?’

‘Because I really don’t want to offend anyone or turn them off from reading our blog altogether.’

‘I like our few readers…our few band of happy readers.’

Are you seriously waking me up to ask me this AGAIN?

‘Ahh…yeah. This is an important life altering decision here!’

‘The fate of your world hangs in the balance!’

‘If the poor soul relegated to having to actually check-out every blog actually likes us & nominates us….that’s like…like…

…like at least 5 more readers right there!’

‘I could scratch ”It’s an honor just to be nominated” off my list of things I’ve always wanted to be able to say!’

‘…And if we WIN…(knock on wood)…we get $20.09!!!’

Ugh…You’re killing me. Just ask them already…and stop asking me.

‘Ok, ok…I’ll ask.’

It’s a simple process really. Just visit www.2010.bloggies.com.

They’ve got various ‘best of’ categories & to be honest, I’m not sure where we would fall – probably best new weblog.

Depending on the category you can nominate 3 – 4 different blogs at once. Simply enter the name & the URL.

Then scroll all the way to the right & enter your email address to confirm your nominations.

You can nominate one time for each email address you have.

They opened up the nominations on New Year’s Day and they’ll stop taking nominations after Tuesday, Jan. 12th. (next week).

So there you have it.
