In my haste to make up a billion cookies today - a task which I failed miserably at - I completely forgot to post anything.
How’s that for a sugar-induced coma excuse?
So here’s just a quick pic from the Chong’s house.
The Chong’s live next door to the Lumber Barons. I know this because I’ve actually & finally met a neighbor who’s legitimate name I know!
Mr. Chong.
Mr. Chong is an older man who speaks…just a little…English.
[said with a stretch]
“Hello…Army…Korea…Good…Tomorrow…You Come…Yes”
Said not necessarily in that order.
It was like playing…oh, fudge – what’s that game? The game where everything’s mixed-up & you have to rearrange it to make sense?
Well, whatever it is…that’s what it was like.
But this is a picture of their backdoor which leads up to the roof where their soy terrace is.
All those pots are used to store & age things like soy sauce & kimchi.
And when I walked past their house that particular day, there was something about it that caught my eye.
But enough of that…it’s midnight here…Maggie’s successfully gone outside, thank you very much – have a potty treat…I’ve snitched the last 4 tea cakes Eric left untouched…and I now must go crawl back in bed before I slip deeper into my sugar-induced coma.

I left cookies????
I stayed up too late too, I guess I was hyped out on sugar from my cookie making too. I will give you some so Eric won’t steal all the ones you are making. What do you think Koreans would think of our sweet American style treats?
