Yes....it's finally Spring & the weather may hit 60 tomorrow!
 wrote this at 11:01 pm

Tomorrow morning Eric & I will be up with the chickens.

Well…at least the roosters.

We’re leaving the rural farmlands of Anjung-Ri and hopping a USO bus down to the coast to Jinhae for their annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

Jinhae is about 5 – 6 hours away, home to a US Naval base & has over 200,000 cherry trees in full bloom just waiting to help me completely forget about Winter & celebrate Spring.

So I’ll be offline tomorrow & will be sure to post on Sunday (my time).

We’ll be making at least a couple of pit-stops along the way – so I’m keeping my fingers crossed we’ll run into another rest stop with the fully electronic toilets.

This time I’ll be ready…This time the buttons won’t overwhelm me…And this time…I’ll push them all!

Happy Weekend!

  1. Have fun celebrating Spring and make sure you take pictures of the Cherry blossoms. BTW-those bails look like giant marshmallows in that field. Hehe!

  2. Sounds like fun, fun, fun! Just what you need. I love cherry blossoms, especially in a large grouping like you are going to see. Good luck at the rest stops; I went back and read your link on electronic toilets. Very interesting, slightly weird. Oh, those South Koreans!

Spring Break as a Young adult and Spring Break as a mature adult.
I’m enjoying my mature Spring Break soooo much more.
Have fun and I can’t wait to see the pics!

I’m still waiting to hear what the magic wand and music notes do! Enjoy your trip :-)

So What Do You Think?
