If you have some left-over eye antibiotic, that will help the dog. Matting indicates an eye infection. If it's liquid antibiotic put 2 drops in every 3-4 hours and if it's ointment aim for three times a day. Maybe one of your friends has an old RX. Cleanse the outside dispenser portion with alcohol before you use it and use very good handwashing before and after. Have you seen the doggie lately?

Oh boy....I know how this tugs at your heart but your first priority is to your own....you have to make sure Maggie is protected. The little dog does look like it may have been groomed not tooooooo long ago and since its so loving, it must have been shown love. Maybe the owner is so poor they have no way to heal their dog. Hopefully you can find the owner and hopefully...the dog will get well. Its hard to imagine no vets......we have one every few miles where I live. PLUS the wonderful Humane Society .... and I supposed there is nothing at all like that over there! We'll say little prayers for your little buddy and hope its soon well.
