“She was right & I was wrong ~ She can sing the I-was-right song.”

Moo’s bloodwork came back…what was it…a week ago?…something like that.

I was wrong.

Her kidneys were not failing.

Her liver wasn’t in any danger.

In fact the only bit of results that showed a slight dip (but still within normal parameters) was her thyroid.

[ugh]

Hate being wrong. But in this case I’m happy for it.

Moo’s on meds to help bring her levels up, but other than that – she’s her regular ol’ self.

When I went to pick up the pills from Osan, I asked the tech behind the counter if the little petite French woman vet was still working at the clinic. She was always SO nice and SO compassionate – the complete opposite of the vet we last saw.

But the tech informed me that no, my favorite vet was no longer in Korea – that she had gone back to the States. And with great restraint she added,

“Yes – it’s been quite an adjustment for everyone.”

[double ugh]

Never a good sign.
