Remember the boy scouts?…

Somewhere some 9 year-old is crying over the loss of his super-cool, official Army-style camp knife….although it doesn’t have a compass & a stock and a thing that tells time.

She fished it out of the brush along the road where they camped a few weeks ago.

And she was not happy we took it away from her, thank you very much.

Afterall, finders are keepers.

(This shot was before she realized she wasn’t getting it back. Of course copious amounts of jumping up & down immediately ensued when the realization sank in.)

So now it sits in the laundry room as we ponder how to hunt down those boy scouts.
